Sustainability & Traceability

Through the Pacomarca project of alpaca breeding, we are striving to improve the fineness of the alpaca fiber in Peru. With state-of-the-art techniques in animal science, such as performance recording and assisted reproduction, we are succeeding in improving the genetic stock of alpacas in the Peruvian Altiplano. The benefits are spread to the rural communities because finer alpaca fiber in the fleece will generate a higher income for the herdsmen.
